We’re excited to announce the upcoming Pawpaw release of MergeUp, scheduled for February 20, 2026, at 10:00 PM EST. Impacts to Your Organization 

• External Client App Migration

  • With the Salesforce Spring ’26 release, Salesforce no longer allows the creation of new Connected Apps. MergeUp is migrating to External Client Apps to align with this change. Your existing Connected Apps will continue to work as expected, but we recommend re-running the MergeUp Setup Flow to take advantage of the enhanced security capabilities provided by External Client Apps. Please note that re-running the MergeUp Setup Flow will prompt all users to reauthenticate.

• Extended Server Downtime

  • MergeUp services may be unavailable for up to two hours while we roll out infrastructure updates. We appreciate your patience and will work to restore full service as quickly as possible.

New Features and Enhancements

• Record List Merging: Support has been added for passing a list of record IDs to filter a General Query during an individual merge.
• External Client App Support: The MergeUp Setup Flow now uses External Client Apps in place of Connected Apps.

Fixes

• Resolved an issue where the MergeUp Setup Flow would fail when MergeUp Permission Sets were assigned to Permission Set Groups.
• Fixed several issues with PDF conversion
• Fixed multiple formatting issues when merging Rich Text Fields
• Updated the Salesforce API version used by MergeUp to 64.0, enabling access to newer fields on standard objects.
